Enzo Piccinini Foundation

The Enzo Piccinini ETS Foundation was established in honor and memory of Eugenio Enzo Piccinini, a respected physician and surgeon as well as a professor at the University of Bologna. The Foundation intends to represent, through the works and initiatives it pursues and supports, the ideal continuation of that legacy of extraordinary humanity, spiritual richness, unstinting dedication, projects, and lofty intentions that characterized the entire life of this highly esteemed physician from Modena. He was a man of authentic and profound faith, committed to a proactive and inexhaustible testimony, as fervent and charismatic as he was to astonishing dedication, intelligent and integral in his outlook. He devoted his life entirely to Christ and His Church, and for this reason, there was not a day that he did not seek in every way the human glory of Christ.

The Foundation therefore intends, as better highlighted below, to pursue the same idealistic goals that inspired Enzo Piccinini’s entire life, also given the preeminent social significance of the initiatives and activities, particularly in the cultural, medical-scientific, and educational fields, that have arisen from the active pursuit of these idealistic goals.
