The Enzo Piccinini Orchestra in the Holy Land

The beauty that broadens the heart

Friends in the Holy Land are organizing some live classical music concerts with the Enzo Piccinini Orchestra, which will perform Dvořák’s Serenades.

They do so because music, more than many words, can touch what makes us human and open spaces for encounter and hope.

This desire was further strengthened by the personal invitation of Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, who asked Catholics in the Holy Land to support a cultural initiative capable of helping both peoples raise their gaze, beyond pain and division.

Three concerts are scheduled in Israel:

  • The first concert will be on March 5th in Haifa at the Krieger Auditorium with the full orchestra;
  • the second concert will be held on March 6th in Bethlehem at the Terra Santa College Auditorium with the orchestra’s soloists;
  • the third concert will see the full Piccinini Orchestra perform again on March 7th at the Notre Dame Jerusalem Center in Jerusalem.
